Every week on Wednesday I devote a blog to whining. Despite being a really happy, positive person, I do have things that annoy me at times.
I never let anything grate on my nerves for long but thought it would be fun to vent them periodically in my blogs.
I also feel that good things, the cheese in life, should be acknowledged as well.
I’m even going to throw in a bit of dessert, a piece of virtual chocolate, something that made me laugh or smile just a bit more than normal.
If you’d like to read the past editions of Wine & Cheese just click HERE for all of the past postings.
Sit back and join me now for the 68th serving of some wine and cheese!

😦 Still no A/C at the office. Being of the gender made of “sugar and spice and everything nice”, I am prone to melting. I’d say princesses do not sweat, they glisten, but why try to silver lining this….I freaking sweat there. So I left early in search of cooler air and places with such an environment in which to work. It was that or the “everything nice” was going to get rather ugly.
😦 I left the west side of Cincinnati without stopping at the Kroger pharmacy to get my prescription refill. SIGH
😦 Now that I am a proud dog owner, I take the little 4-legged
pain in my tail darling to the office so she isn’t caged all day. Trouble is, she gets freaked when I turn off the car, thinking that I am going to leave her behind. Not sure why, as I have never done this. So today she tried to jump across my lap and out of my door as I was opening it. I lost my grip on the door in an effort to catch the pooch in midair, which sucked because my left leg had already exited the vehicle. The door closed hard on my leg, bouncing not once but twice. That is going to leave a nasty bruise.
🙂 The A/C at the office should be up and operational next Monday. I won’t be there, as I will be on the Minion retreat but when I get back to the office Wednesday I’ll be happy!
🙂 I called and had the prescription pick-up changed to the Kroger up the street from the Castle.
🙂 Had lunch with my sister today when I stopped at the Diva Den to pick up my mail (more like threw all but the check I was waiting for in the trash).
🙂 While at the Diva Den, Lord Voldemort pulled up and we actually had a civil conversation for about 10 minutes. Perhaps old grump ass is finally starting to get over his choice to divorce, keep the house and toys, and is ready to play nice in the sandbox? Na, I ain’t buying it, he needs something from me at the moment so he has to play nice to avoid my being uncooperative. When I am no longer blocked on Facebook (making it really difficult to make heads or tails out of comment threads on my kid’s pages) then I’ll believe he is moving forward.
These are hilarious and worth your time. If you are a cat or dog owner, even better.
