Wine & Cheese – 36th Serving


Welcome to Wine & Cheese, my weekly, Wednesday whine session.

Every week on Wednesday I devote a blog to whining. Despite being a really happy, positive person, I do have things that annoy me at times.

I never let anything grate on my nerves for long but thought it would be fun to vent them periodically in my blogs.

I also feel that good things, the cheese in life, should be acknowledged as well.

I’m even going to throw in a bit of dessert, a piece of virtual chocolate, something that made me laugh or smile just a bit more than normal.

WINE

😦  INSOMNIA!!!  I am exhausted.  I keep waking up at during the night, unable to go back to sleep for hours.  Needless to say when the alarm clock goes off, I’m dead to the world.  This has to stop.  I need my rest.

😦  RAIN – enough already!  The yard is a swamp, there is no place that isn’t muddy, and the kids want to go out to play.  Cannot even play on the deck if it’s raining!

😦  There is no more chocolate syrup in the Diva Den!  Seriously this is on the level of a crisis.  5 women, hormone surges of PMS and no chocolate syrup.  See the issue? Critical!

CHEESE

🙂  Urban Dictionary liked my Zombie Texting definition and published it in their  dictionary!!!

🙂  An ice cold Coke!  Coffee is great but just needed a change so grabbed a Coke from the fridge….AH!

🙂  Chick-O-Sticks!  Haven’t had one of those in FOREVER!!! Found them at a soft serve ice cream shop yesterday.  Not something I like a lot, but just brought back some nice childhood memories.

  1. Insomnia is the pits!!! I hate it when my sleep cycle gets all out of whack. I’ve taken small doses of melatonin to get the cycle back on track and cut down on caffine in late afternoon/evening. I love my diet pepsi…so went to drinking decaf diet pepsi and it helped!! Good luck…hope you get some sleep soon. 🙂
